Frozen fish. Frozen entrees. There used to beautiful good waitresses. Those days are long gone. There used to be fun talented sushi chefs. The new jealous owner ran everyone off. This restaurant jumped the shark when they changed out the sushi bar in April 2019. The only saving grace is they have a phenomenal cook in the back who makes miracles happen with ease.
We love their Cowle's Mountain Roll! And... I had the Mimi Chan yesterday and just writing about this right now makes me want to go back and get ANOTHER!!😜😜I love this place. The owners are so kind professional and he, the sushi chef takes great care in all his work( our sushi). I like to go during happy hour when I'm hungry! But even when not happy hour the value is INCREDIBLE. I highly recommend.
Food is good, but the issue is that the chef doesn't know how to properly put on a mask. It goes over your nose too sir. I don't want people breathing on my food during these times, I'm already taking risks going here. Meet us halfway...
Love this place... unfortunately, we can never seem to get a DoorDash order to work... I've ordered sushi three times this week and I ended up having to go to another place, every time😓
WOW! Best sushi I have had in San Diego. After living in Japan and visiting South Korea I was searching for sushi to help scratch the itch it left when I came back. Portion sizes are outstanding for what they cost. Will definitely return!
